I turned 28 years old on Monday. As I approach thirty, I wanted to look back on my 27th year of life and share with you some lessons that I learnt, to help you in your journey towards virtue.
27. Frequent confession is the most powerful form of accountability you could have. If you can’t seem to defeat a particular vice, start confessing it often.
26. Total sobriety is a superpower.
25. “Following your heart” can be catastrophically wrong.
24. Every failure, every disappointment, and everything that makes you question God eventually ends up making sense, if you don’t stray from the path of righteousness.
23. The hardest battle you’ll ever fight is against your own pride.
22. Working to the point of neglecting your own health is terrible for both your work and your health.
21. Depression follows idleness.
