The Problem With Commercial Soaps
The reason commercial soap is harmful, specifically for men, is that most of them contain a lot of endocrine disruptors. Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC’s) are chemicals that interfere with your body’s natural hormone function and biological rhythms, which can have a massive negative impact in various aspects of your health and vitality.
When you wash with these chemicals, they are absorbed into the bloodstream & essentially mimic estrogen. (That is what a xenoestrogen is btw). Estrogen excess is one of the root causes of ill-health and disease in men today, since estrogen is pro-stress and chronic stress leads to poor health conditions in general.
Take a look at the ingredient list of the soap you use, and it is highly likely that you’ll find one or more of these EDCs. If it looks like it’s written in a foreign language, it probably is a harmful chemical.
Not only are these EDC-containing soaps bad for your health, they just don’t do a good job cleaning your skin. Mainstream soap isn’t actually “soap”. Soap is only produced by combining an oil with lye (this is called saponification). Most of the stuff you see in the shops are actually just “detergents” that contain chemical surfactants, which “clean” you by stripping your skin’s microbiome, leaving it feeling dry & unhealthy.
What’s the Alternative?

Recently, my good friends over at Royal Tallow released a brand new product: Throne-Tallow Soap, an excellent natural alternative so you can ditch the harmful, commercial, blackrock-owned “soaps” you’ve been using.
No detergents. No synthetic additives. Just high quality ingredients and a soap that works wonderfully.
I’m a big fan of tallow, and I’ve spoken highly before about Royal Tallow’s Deodorant and Skin Balm. Tallow is probably the best thing you could use for skincare in general, as it’s highly biocompatible with your skin1.
What Is Royal Tallow’s Throne-Tallow Soap Made Of?
When it comes to healthcare products, usually the less ingredients the better. This is definitely the case with this soap! The full ingredient list is seen in the image above.
Tallow is packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K, and closely mimics the skin’s natural oils, helping to replenish and restore its barrier. This results in a deeply moisturizing cleanse that leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed.
Some Benefits of Throne-Tallow Soap
This soap isn’t just a great natural alternative, but it actually has a wide range of health benefits which makes it vastly superior to commercial soaps:
Works For Face, Body & Hands: With this soap, it’s not necessary to separate face, body, and hand washes, as it’s suited for every body part and great to simplify your skincare routine.
Can Help with Skin Conditions: Some users with dry skin, acne, eczema, and other skin sensitivities report noticeable improvements in hydration, clarity, and overall skin health.
Harder & Longer-Lasting Bar: Unlike vegetable-based soaps that dissolve quickly and become mushy very easily, tallow soap is naturally dense and firm, which means it usually lasts way longer. This makes Throne Tallow cost-effective and sustainable.
Great company: I’ve been collaborating with Royal Tallow for a while, and have had the pleasure of trying out their other products as well as meeting the owner, and this is a brand I’m very happy to support. Not only are their products great, but Royal Tallow is a Christian-owned brand that emphasizes great customer service, honest marketing, and product quality.
